Ingredients:
- 6 (6 oz / 170g) Air Fryer Cod Fish Fillets, patted dry
- 1/2 tsp (3g) Salt
- 1/2 tsp (1g) Black pepper
- 1 cup (60g) Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (25g) Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp (4g) Dried parsley
- 1 tsp (1g) Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp (1g) Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (1g) Paprika
- 2 large Eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Set up three shallow bowls: Bowl 1 with beaten eggs and lemon juice; Bowl 2 with panko, Parmesan, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika; and a space for seasoned fish.
- Season the patted-dry cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Dip a fillet into the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off, then place it in the herb crust mixture.
- Firmly press the panko into the fish with your fingers to ensure a thick, secure coating.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease the basket or use parchment liners.
- Arrange fillets in a single layer and air fry for 6 minutes.
- Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 6 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
