Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread (sourdough or white)
  • 1 tablespoon (14g) butter, softened
  • 2-3 slices (57g) cheese (cheddar, American)

Instructions:

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the air fryer basket. Layer with cheese. Top with the other slice of bread, butter-side up.
  3. Place the basket in the air fryer. Cook at 370°F (188°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Carefully flip the sandwich with a spatula.
  5. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Carefully remove the air fryer grilled cheese from the air fryer and serve immediately.
