Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp (28g) melted unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp thoroughly with paper towels until completely dry to ensure the seasoning sticks and the exterior sears.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the garlic-butter mixture until every piece is evenly coated in a glossy glaze.
  4. Arrange the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook at 360°F (182°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the shrimp with tongs halfway through (at 5 minutes).
  6. Remove the shrimp once they are opaque and have reached a curled 'C' shape.
  7. Immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley while the shrimp are hot.
