Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp (28g) melted unsalted butter
- 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp (3g) kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp (2g) smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp thoroughly with paper towels until completely dry to ensure the seasoning sticks and the exterior sears.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Toss the shrimp in the garlic-butter mixture until every piece is evenly coated in a glossy glaze.
- Arrange the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook at 360°F (182°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the shrimp with tongs halfway through (at 5 minutes).
- Remove the shrimp once they are opaque and have reached a curled 'C' shape.
- Immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley while the shrimp are hot.
