Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-to-large Russet or Maris Piper potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or Avocado Oil)
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Thoroughly wash and dry the potatoes. Use a fork or sharp knife to pierce each potato deeply 6–8 times all over.
  3. Rub each potato generously with olive oil. Sprinkle and massage the coarse sea salt and black pepper all over the skin.
  4. Place the seasoned potatoes directly into the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space around them and do not overlap.
  5. Air fry for 20 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the basket, flip the potatoes over, and return them to the air fryer. Continue cooking for another 15–30 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness. The potatoes are done when the skins are visibly crisp and the internal flesh yields easily to a fork.
  8. Carefully remove the potatoes. Slice open lengthwise with a sharp knife immediately and use a fork to fluff the inside flesh. Serve piping hot.
