Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Cajun seasoning blend
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
  • Chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and black pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the spice mixture.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon juice.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or green onions, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
