Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil or avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Cajun seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
- Chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and black pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the spice mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley or green onions, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
