Ingredients:

  • 8 (6-ounce/170g) Salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Unsalted butter, cut into 8 pats
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste (Optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place salmon fillets in the pressure cooker. Add 1 cup (240ml) of water. Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes, followed by a quick pressure release.
  2. Carefully remove the salmon fillets from the pressure cooker using tongs. Gently pat the tops dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the fillets on a baking sheet. Place a pat of butter on top of each fillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
  4. Position the oven rack about 6 inches (15cm) from the broiler. Broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the top is lightly browned. Watch carefully to avoid burning!
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.
